TEAR DROP FLAG
As its name suggests, a teardrop feather flag looks like an upside-down teardrop. It is plump and rounded at the top and tapers to a point at the bottom. The flagpole for this style is longer and curves over the entire top of the flag, following the teardrop shape. The construction allows for greater stability. Teardrop flags will not flutter as much in the wind and their surface area is a little smaller than that of classic feather flags.
